The Dixie Chicks are one of my ALL time favorite bands. They are extremely talented women and brilliant musicians. When Natalie Maines rightfully spoke her mind, it was not only unfair but WRONG what many people and the media did to these ladies and their band. We live in a country where freedom of speech should be supported. We may not agree with what is being said; however, we should fight like HELL for everyone's right to say it!
The Dixie Chicks will realease their new album, Taking The Long Way, on May 23, 2006. The featured song for this album is entitled Not Ready to Make Nice. You can view the world premiere of the video at www.aolmusic.com. I absolutely LOVE the video and the song! Way to go Natalie, Martie and Emily!! You ROCK!!

I really like them too, and I agree with you. They might not have agreed with her statement, but that's our right as much as it is hers:)
Can't wait for the album. Now I need to check out the song!
