8.8.06 Daddy Needs Some New Shelves

Last Friday, some friends (my brother, his gilfriend, her CUTE brother), my husband and I crossed the Texas/Oklahoma border to gamble our lives away in the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. Well, we didn't really gamble our lives away; but, we had a lot of fun and we all came out ahead.

Our plan was to take in a certain amount and once it was gone STOP gambling. I'm not sure how well the others stuck to the plan; but, my husband and I did very well. We both had $20 to gamble with. When playing the penny slot machines, $20 lasts a LONG time. We weren't there to win big...just have fun.

The biggest winner of the night was my brother's girlfriend's brother who ended the night $150 up. My brother and his girlfriend broke even. My husband and I were $78 up. I lost all of my $20; but, my husband won somwhere $100. Doesn't add up? He was excited about the $100 and put his money back in. After losing abou $10, he stopped.

With our BIG winnings, we bought shelves for the new apartment. Yea, baby! What excitement!! It really was a fun Friday night though.
