01.14.06 Good Weekend
I have had a really good weekend. Saturday, my mom came over and we sewed/worked on our quilts. I didn't get much done quilt-wise because I was cleaning my apartment while my mom worked on her quilt. However, I REALLY enjoyed the company and I got my apartment clean. The picture on the right is what I have done so far. Once I get all the little squares sewn together, the block will be finished.
On Saturday night, two of our friends came over and we went to dinner at the Clay Pit. I don't get to eat much Indian food; so, it was nice to have something different. I had grilled lamb and potatoes. YUMMY!
Tonight, we are going to Dick's Last Resort to see one of our friends play in his new(ish) band. The last group he was in was a duo with his best friend. They were the best...VERY entertaining.

After dinner, we went to Club 300 and bowled 2 games. I'm not too good at bowling. The last time I bowled, my scores were 87 and 89. Despite my lack of skill, I still have fun. Last night, I bowled a 99 and a 137! I was proud of the 137. Here's a pic so it can go down in my blog history. I may never see an over-100-game again. :o) Yea, me!

1. Finish my photo assignment from my photo class (I have 1 out of 8) and get the pictures printed.
2. Bake and decorate a cake for a co-worker's birthday on Monday.
Damn...I hope I get it all done. Looks like tonight might be a late night. ;o)

Did you or your mom make that quilt? It's really pretty. I'm glad you had a such a fun weekend. Hey, you bowl better than I do, my best so far has been barely 100. I've never eaten Indian Food either, but I love lamb.
