10.17.06 Climbing Down to Success: Week 5



Well, I gained a pound...but, I still have a total loss. I know why I didn't do well this week. I didn't write down what I was eating. I also dined out a lot this week. I try to make "healthier" choices when I dine out; but, healthier really means eating at home.

So, goals to tackle this week are 1. write down EVERY THING
2. go grocery shopping
3. eat at HOME.

Even if you gained a pound, it's probably lost in inches.. that's what I used to find.

I think (and believe) that it's down to exercise combined with healthier eating. I still eat candy, cakes etc.. but I'm getting a LOT more exercise, and losing pounds in the process.

Yea... eating at home really is the only way -- it seems like even the salads are more fattening at the restaurants! (and we've noticed that a lot of them are NO LONGER offering Light versions of Ranch or Thousand Island dressing!) That leaves us usually with nothing but balsamic/vinegar dressing. Sheeesh! You'll do better next week!
